Welcome to another exciting rulebook review! Today we're taking a look at a game with a very unique theme. Peptide: A Protein Building Game is a game currently on kickstarter that takes this scientific subject and makes it quite a bit of fun. You can learn more about the game by watching the video above or clicking the picture on the side. Clarity: With such a complex scientific subject you definitely need to keep things clear and concise. While the scientific terms might take a bit to digest they were presented quite well. The rules themselves were quite clear as well despite the intimidating nature of the theme they were trying to explain which is quite impressive!
Graphics: The art and graphics were a real aid in the explanation of the game. With such a unique and complex theme as protein building it was nice to have such good visuals to help with everything from set up to the game mechanics.
Depth: While playing both the basic and advanced game we ran into no issues that were not covered clearly by the rules. It seems like everything you need is in there.
Writing: We caught a random parenthesis in the middle of step 4 in the amino acid draw pile setup, but other then this all of the writing was spot on!
