Street Food Fighters was an entry in the 2013 2 player PnP Contest hosted on BoardGameGeek which won second place in the Most Original Theme category. The game involves using dice to try and create orders for people as a busy street vendor and contains some Yahtzee-like qualities. You can check out the game here.
Today I have the opportunity to do something pretty cool. Stormtower, a member of BoardGameGeek when writing in his WIP posts for games there writes them specifically so you can see how games evolve. When he asked me if I'd like to look at some of his rules I thought it would work perfectly in the Before and After format, so we're going to give it a look here!
If you follow this link, and scroll to the second post you can see a summary post to show how the game has grown. You can see his link to the first draft as well as his final version of the rules.
Now, I could sit down and write out what he has written over again, but why do that when you have an excellent resource in front of you there? Check out the thread and see how a game and its rules evolve right before you eyes!
However, this contest did not have a single mustache to judge rulebooks, the travesty! If you'd like to see what Susan and I think of the Rulebook, come back tomorrow when Street Food fighter gets a Rulebook Review!
