Today we'll be taking a look at the award winning game Loot. In Loot players play merchant ships and try to control them by playing variously colors pirate ships and captains. If you'd like to learn more you can check it out here.

Organization and Layout: It has a nice attractive layout that is well organized. One of the things i particularly liked is that instead of trying to keep the rules for teams play and individual play smash together it mentioned the team play rules would just be at the end keeping it organized and also easy to find.
Clarity: Everything was clear and easy to understand, learning the game was quick and simple because of it.
Graphics: There are a few pictures to show the various kinds of cards and help explain the game. there aren't tons of pictures but the rulebook really doesn't need them. There is enough to show what needs showing.
Depth: After playing the game I could find nothing the rulebook didn't cover extensively. It was great to be able to check the rules and find answers quick and easy.
Writing: It has the professional feel you look for when reading a rulebook. I couldn't find grammar errors or typos. Even the small section from Gamewright at the end felt good even though it wasn't strictly about the rules.
